Better Than a Milkshake Smoothie

Stop what you’re doing!  I have something very important to tell you!  You’ve heard of better than sex cake.  Well, I need to tell you about this better than a milkshake smoothie I just made.  This thing is so creamy and delicious, you can’t believe there is no ice cream in it!  I mean, when you’re drinking this smoothie, the saddest sound ever is that slurping, bottom-of-the-glass sound.  You might shed real tears.  What’s in it you ask?  My favorite flavors, of course – banana, peanut butter, and chocolate.  Well, not chocolate exactly.  Nutella.  And ice and milk.  I didn’t crunch any numbers, but I know it has less fat than an actual milkshake.  Peanut butter is kind of high in fat, but it also has a lot of protein, and if you’re that worried about it, you could use low fat if you wanted.  Or just leave it out and have banana and Nutella.  Go make this right now!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie

Ingredients: (for 2 smoothies)

  • 2 ripe frozen bananas, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 1 – 1 1/2 cups of skim milk (more or less to your desired consistency)
  • 2-3 T Nutella
  • 2-3 T creamy peanut butter
  • 10-12 ice cubes

Directions:

Blend in blender until smooth.  Drink.  Try not to get a brain freeze.  Dare ya!
