Today’s Tip: Double the Life of Your Celery

Wow, if that isn’t an eye grabbing blog title, I don’t know what is!  I know you’re all dying to learn how to properly store your celery!  Well, it may not be the most thrilling thing I’ve ever shared with you, but it is a pretty neat tip.  It’s a really easy way to double the life if your celery.  I learned this from my mom, and I think even my grandmother did it.  So I’ve just always done it.  But a few months ago I got lazy and didn’t do it, and I was shocked at how quickly my celery went bad.  So I can personally vouch for this method.  And I’m telling you, it’s really easy.  All you need to do is wrap the entire bunch of celery in aluminum foil.  The long foil is perfect for this, but if you don’t have any, you can just use two pieces of the shorter length.  Just roll it up, tuck in the ends, stick it in the fridge, and prepare to be amazed. 🙂
